What is home dog boarding?
Home dog boarding means your dog stays in a cozy, home environment instead of a traditional kennel. They’ll be part of our family while you're away, getting personal attention, care, and comfort.
How do I book a stay for my dog?
You can contact us via phone/email/website/social media to check availability. We recommend scheduling a meet-and-greet before your dog's first stay.
Do you accept all dog breeds and sizes?
Yes, we welcome all breeds, but we require a temperament assessment beforehand. All dogs must be non-aggressive and get along with Elmo my dog and of course other dogs.
5.What are your vaccination requirements?
For everyone’s safety, we require proof of current:
-
Dewarming
-
Bordetella (kennel cough)
-
Flea/tick prevention
How many dogs do you board at once?
We limit the number of dogs to ensure personalized care. Typically, no more than 3 dogs at a time ( including Elmo). Your pet will never be overcrowded or stressed.
Do you board puppies or senior dogs?
Yes, we love both! Puppies must be at least 6 months old and fully house-trained. If they are not fully house trained an extra will be charge in order to accommodate everyone.
Senior dogs are welcome as long as they’re mobile and not in critical health.
Are you insured or certified?
Yes, we are insured by Pet Business Insurance and trained in Pet First Aid.
Do you provide transportation?
In some cases, yes! We offer pet pick-up and drop-off within 15 km for an additional fee. Ask about availability when booking.
Do you accept unneutered/spayed dogs?
We do on a case-by-case basis. For safety, we don’t allow intact males or females in heat to mix with other dogs. Please disclose this during booking.
